Admission in Five Simple Steps
Admission is governed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
Appear in MHT-CET or JEE Main
Qualify in Maharashtra's common engineering entrance exam. MHT-CET is the primary route; JEE Main scores are also accepted.
Register for Maharashtra CAP Rounds
Register on the official DTE Maharashtra portal (dtemaharashtra.gov.in) and fill your preference list. Keep DNPCOE as your top choice.
Document Verification
Submit your 10th and 12th marksheets, caste certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate and other required documents at the ARC.
Seat Allotment & Reporting
Seats are allotted through CAP rounds based on the composite merit score. Report to the institute and confirm your admission.

First Year & Direct Second Year
First Year Admission (through CAP)
Admission to the first year of the four-year degree course in Engineering/Technology is governed by the DTE, Mumbai, through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Eligibility criteria are specified, documented and published by DTE for each academic year. From 2024-25, allotment is based on a composite score combining the qualifying examination marks with JEE (Main) or CET.
The process consists of: (1) registration, document verification and confirmation at the ARC; (2) display of the merit list; (3) option-form filling for the institute of choice; (4) allotment of seats through CAP rounds; and (5) reporting to the institute. For details visit dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
Direct Second Year (DSY) Admission
Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology approved by DTE are eligible for direct second-year admission, subject to the eligibility criteria below.

SY / TY / B.Tech. (Institute Level & Against CAP)
For AY 2025-26, institute-level admissions from the institutional quota are made either under the management quota and/or against CAP vacant seats, based on DTE, Maharashtra policies. The process consists of inviting applications, generating and displaying the merit list, notifying seat allotment, and confirmation of admission by the candidate.
FRA Fee Structure — AY 2025-26

Total academic fee: ₹75,000
As decided by the Fee Regulating Authority (FRA), Mumbai on 12 June 2025, the total academic fee (Tuition + Development) for the First Year of Engineering for AY 2025-26 is ₹75,000, applicable for the full duration of the programme. Scholarships and category concessions significantly reduce this for eligible students.

Scholarships & Freeships
The college provides freeships and financial assistance through Central and State Government schemes. Financial aid is disbursed on time and has been transferred online by the Central/State Government since 2011. Scholarship details are available in the prospectus. Candidates from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category are admitted on payment of only the prescribed refundable deposits and the identity-card fee, as per the prospectus.
